Hogan put him in a chin choke-hold and knocked him out completely, falling to the ground. Later Belzer sued Hogan for $5 million in damages.

In 2007, Hulk Hogan was going through a very rough patch. His wife was destroying him in the media game and his son was in jail. He took a phone call from Laila Ali who learned that he was drinking rum, chewing on Xanax and holding a pistol to his head. She managed to calm him down and instilled hope in him. He attributes his decision to continue living to Laila Ali.
