That Night
November 12, 1961 was night the family left Great Abaco and set sail to continue on their journey. Terry Jo was quite tired and returned to her cabin early on in the evening so she could rest. Later that night, Terry Jo suddenly woke when she heard her brother’s cries. In the pit of her stomach, she knew something was wrong.
