After a bolt failed, A single bolt had failed, the wing then sheared off and the glider plummeting about 2,000 feet to the ground directly in front of thousands of other stunned onlookers.

Flight 182 was a commercial airliner that actually collided with a private light aircraft just over San Diego, California, back in September 1978. This was the first time a Pacific Southwest Airlines aircraft was in an accident with fatalities. 144 people on board the flight all tragically passed away, this is also the deadliest aircraft disaster that happened in California’s history.
