Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are one of those rare Hollywood marriage success stories. They’ve been together since 2005 and married since 2006. As with any high profile relationship, Kidman and Urban have been the target of many rumors and stories. One particular instance at an Emmys ceremony led people to say a lot things. However, the couple decided to address these rumors.

In an interview with Ellen Degeneres in 2013, Kidman shared that she told her husband: “I’m like, ‘You didn’t love me at first sight, you didn’t notice me,’ and he’s like, ‘Yes I did, but I just didn’t let on.” But we kind of met, and then he phoned me four months later.”

That phone call went very well, and they quickly got together. They were engaged in spring 2006, which was just months of them dating. While some people believe that getting married quickly is a bad idea, Kidman does not agree.
