Jahna Steele was an entertainer and showgirl that was voted Las Vegas’ “Sexiest Showgirl on the Strip” in 1991, as well as “Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year, 1992,” and “Most Beautiful Showgirl, 1993.” After she was outed as a trans woman on a tabloid TV show, she was fired from Crazy Girls Review. She passed away in 2008.

Laura Jane Grace
Laura Jane Grace is the lead singer of the rock band Against Me! as well as the band Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers. She was one of the first highly visible punk rock musicians to come out as trans when she came out publicly in 2012. She appeared in an AOL Studios documentary series True Trans with Laura Jane Grace in 2014 and published her memoir Tranny: Confessions of Punk Rock’s Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout in 2016.
